Effective date: October 25 2026

Welcome to Stembrella. These Terms of Service explain the conditions for using stembrella.ca and describe the general terms applicable to inquiries about our senior living advisory, family care concierge, and home care services.

In these terms, “Stembrella,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean 17853025 Canada Inc, operating as Stembrella.

By using our website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website. Booking or receiving services may require a separate service agreement and appropriate consent.

1. About Our Services

Stembrella supports older adults and their families with services that may include:

The specific scope, availability, schedule, fees, and responsibilities for any service will be confirmed separately.

Submitting a website inquiry does not establish a service relationship, reserve an appointment, or guarantee that Stembrella can accept a client.

2. Website Information

Information on our website is provided for general information. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and current, service descriptions, availability, third-party information, and other content may change.

Please contact us to confirm details before relying on information to make a care, accommodation, or financial decision.

3. Medical Advice and Emergencies

Website content and general senior living guidance do not replace advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified health professional.

Any clinical services must be expressly included in the applicable service agreement and delivered by appropriately qualified professionals. Please do not assume that a particular clinical service is included.

Our website, email, and inquiry forms are not monitored as emergency services. If someone is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

4. Client Choice and Authorized Representatives

We respect the preferences, dignity, and decision-making rights of each client.

Family members may assist with inquiries and service arrangements, but a family relationship or payment for services does not automatically authorize someone to make decisions for a client or receive their confidential information.

When acting on another person’s behalf, you must have their permission or appropriate legal authority. We may request confirmation before accepting instructions, arranging services, or disclosing information.

5. Information You Provide

You agree to provide accurate and relevant information when making an inquiry or arranging services, and to advise us of material changes that may affect service delivery or safety.

Please do not submit information about another person unless you have permission or another lawful basis to do so.

Avoid sending sensitive medical records, government identification numbers, or payment card information through general website forms or ordinary email. Contact us to discuss an appropriate way to provide necessary information.

6. Service Agreements, Fees, and Cancellations

Before services begin, the applicable agreement or booking confirmation will explain relevant terms, which may include:

Cancellation charges or other fees will be disclosed before you agree to them.

If these website terms conflict with a signed service agreement, the signed agreement governs the services covered by that agreement, subject to applicable law.

7. Senior Living Guidance and Referrals

Our guidance is intended to help clients and families explore options based on the information available and the preferences they share with us.

Clients and their authorized representatives remain responsible for deciding whether a residence or provider meets their needs and for reviewing its contracts, fees, policies, qualifications, and suitability.

We cannot guarantee admission, room availability, pricing, eligibility, or the future quality of services delivered by an independent organization.

Where Stembrella receives a referral fee, commission, or other benefit connected with a recommendation or introduction, we will disclose the arrangement and any relevant conflict of interest before you decide whether to proceed.

8. Independent Providers and Third-Party Websites

We may introduce you to independent residences, care providers, transportation providers, or other organizations. Those organizations are responsible for their own services and agreements.

We will explain whether a provider is delivering services on Stembrella’s behalf or contracting directly with you.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Their content, privacy practices, and terms are controlled by their operators. A link does not, by itself, constitute an endorsement.

Nothing in this section removes any responsibility Stembrella has under its agreements or applicable law.

9. Safe and Respectful Service Delivery

Clients, representatives, and Stembrella personnel are expected to communicate respectfully and support a safe service environment.

Please disclose known hazards or circumstances relevant to a planned visit, including unsafe premises, aggressive behaviour, or other conditions that could affect safe service delivery.

We may decline, pause, or end a service where there is a material safety concern, unlawful conduct, or a request outside the agreed scope. Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we will explain the concern, provide notice, and discuss next steps in accordance with the service agreement and applicable obligations.

10. Acceptable Website Use

You agree not to:

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the website and its users.

11. Ownership of Website Content

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s text, branding, graphics, photographs, and other materials belong to Stembrella or are used with permission.

You may view, download, or print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial use, provided you retain ownership notices and do not misrepresent the material.

Other reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use requires permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Consent to receive services, share sensitive information, or receive promotional communications will be obtained separately where required. Accepting these terms does not replace any consent required by privacy law.

13. Website Availability

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the website, but access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems, security issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Please contact us directly if a website issue prevents you from making an inquiry.

14. Responsibility and Limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Stembrella is not responsible for losses caused solely by website interruptions, unauthorized changes by third parties, or reliance on third-party website content.

Responsibility for the delivery of Stembrella services is addressed in the applicable service agreement and by applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or waives any non-waivable consumer rights or remedies.

15. Concerns and Complaints

If you have a concern about our website or services, please contact us and describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking.

We will review the concern and work with you to identify an appropriate response. You remain free to exercise any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our website or practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Updates apply prospectively and do not change an existing service agreement without any notice or agreement required by that agreement or applicable law.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, subject to any mandatory laws or consumer protections that apply to you.

Nothing in these terms restricts your right to bring a complaint or claim in a jurisdiction available to you under applicable law.
