Downsizing with Less Stress, One Small Decision at a Time

DOWNSIZING

“During a difficult transition for our family, Stembrella made everything feel more manageable. Their patience and attention to the little things helped our mother feel comfortable and cared for. They took the time to listen to her and kept us informed along the way. It was a relief having someone we could turn to with questions, especially when we weren’t sure what to do next. We’re so grateful for the kindness they showed our mom and the support they gave our whole family.”

“It’s such a relief knowing someone from Stembrella checks in on my mom. They help her when she gets stuck with her phone, check for expired food in the fridge, and take her to her appointments each month. Mom still does things her own way and feels independent - she just has a little help when she needs it. She enjoys the visits, and it’s been a huge help to me.”

“Dad was a little unsure about having someone come by at first, but he soon started looking forward to the visits. Stembrella took the time to get to know him and what he actually wanted help with. They never made him feel like he couldn’t manage on his own. For us, it’s been reassuring knowing he has someone nearby when we can’t be there. He still has his routines and his independence, and we feel much better knowing he has that extra support.”

“Finding the right home for our dad felt overwhelming. Stembrella’s Senior Advisor helped us narrow down the options and find a place that really suited him. It saved us so much time, and having someone to talk things through with made a big difference. Dad is happy there, and we’re so grateful for the help."
